Do you have a child who loves music? You’ve found the right place! Mountain Melody Music Studio, previously known as Luanne’s Music Studio, provides a unique and innovative approach to music lessons for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced students. We serve the areas of Enumclaw, Buckley, Black Diamond, Auburn, Maple Valley, and Bonney Lake. From Kindermusik classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to private and group piano lessons for kids, teens, and adults, we foster a fun, creative, and supportive environment. Led by our experienced teacher, Luanne Kauppila, our programs nurture a lifelong love of music.


At Mountain Melody, learning music is as natural and enjoyable as learning to speak. Our holistic research-based approach encourages students to sing, dance, play by ear, improvise, compose, and read music fluently. Our engaging and developmentally-appropriate curriculum inspires children to express themselves creatively, promoting emotional resilience and a sense of community. Our two daughters love taking piano with Luanne! Both began in first grade as beginners (they had never played before) and as parents we have been incredibly impressed with how patient Luanne is with our daughters and their learning styles.They have both grown leaps and bounds in their musical knowledge and it is exciting to listen to our girls play the piano all the time at home, and to listen to them begin to experiment with their own notes to make their own music. They are always excited to take their piano lessons. Some added benefits I have noticed through their time in Luanne's Music Studio is an increased ability for our children to focus on a learning activity (not just piano) as well as an increased amount of personal responsibility and pride in their own work.
